This is a Processional Cross

This Processional Cross is silver and is decorated on both sides with silver-guilt medallions. On the front of the cross there is a little picture of Christ and Mary along with Paul are at his sides. These crosses were carried by the clergy in imperial ceremonies. They were also carried at military campaigns and liturgical processions. The crosses were presented to churches as gifts for healing of their sins. The center is made out of iron and it is sheathed in eight different arms of silver.
